Traffic Sign Recognition

Hello
A quick question for people who have driven in 2 places on where the signs are in MPH and the other where KPH. e.g. the UK and then continental Europe. Does Traffic Sign Recognition work and give you the correct speeds?

I have used different tech over the years and not all have worked. They were all using a database for the data.

This system uses a database and reads signs.

Thanks
Iain

i think the RR one just reads the signs - so it just displays the number on the last sign you passed

When you drive in France do you change the units on the car from mph to kph?

I don't have the speed camera recognition

I change the digital speedometer to display KPH & the high beam assist to the other side, but that's all.

I do have a thing that adds the speed cameras to the sat nav though Cool

So last year we had a disco my 2018 for short term loan after SWMBO rolled her company Jaguar XF 3 days before our France holiday. That's what reminded me how much I liked the LR/RR driving position & ownership. I seem to remember that it was easy driving abroad. I could select the beam pattern from let to right and the mph to kph, the speed limit was then shown appropriately.

The traffic sign recognition also uses GPS location information. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso
