Removing armrest section of doorcard?

Hi all my arm rest cushion on my doorcard is looking very tired passenger and driver. I know it’s not meant to come off but is there a way to do it? Got some liquid leather to tart it up a bit.

I think the door card comes off and they are fixed from behind...

Noticed these the other day if yours have gone real bad... they do them in other colours..

Thanks Pete

I think they are plastic welded so may get my drill out and do a diy at some point now I know - they are good if they are really bad hopefully mine will scrub up ok Current stable:

i got a perfect one on ebay from the rear door as they are same a s front. however, as said above, they are plastic welded to the main card and you have to drill out the welded parts which leaved little material available to reaffix to your door card. the picture shows what you are left with after drilling out the plastics welds.

there about 12 plastic welds and 2 screws which hold the handle on to the card but the plastic welds take 90% of the load when you pull the door shut from the inside. the lower bosses could be drilled and self tappers used but the top ones don't have a lot of meat on them

it would be possible to refit but messy.

If I multitooled the rivets off instead of drilling through would the five more meat? Could you use a tiny nut and washer and bolt and washer? Current stable:
