Hello all - as title, my driverside headlamp unit is misting up and the inside of the lens looks like it needs a good clean. At one time i seem to remember there was some instructions on here of how to split it which would allow me to clean and reseal.

Much appreciate if anyone can point me in the right direction

OK - minutes after posting this I found some info buried in a number of threads.

The answer seems to be that it can be split with a heatgun. An alternative was to put in a fan oven for 8 mins at 130.

Going for the latter myself - lets hope i dont end up with a pile of melted plastic
