2004 tailgate onto a 2008 model

Hi Everyone

Had a quick search and couldn’t find anything relating to electronics/wiring in tailgates from an older model into a newer model

Specifically
Are there any problems of me fitting an upper tailgate from an April 2004 V8 vogue to my sept TDV8 vogue

Would I need to strip the entire loom in there , any problems with heated rear screen and number plate lights , locking mechanism

I imagine you would have to use everything from your current tailgate and just the steel bit from the new one. Someone posted a similar query recently and the said how the loom routes through the tailgate.
