google maps on phone lagging

does anyone else have the same issue. when i use google maps on my phone (sat in centre console) its seriously lags. i'm guessing its because of all the other electronics going on. anyone else had the same and any suggestions to improve / fix it.

try the phone on a vent or window mount and see if theres a difference.. ... - .- -.

For once I agree with the head master - although the heated screen wires may still obstruct the satellite reception.

FWIW my phone (Android) work fine where you have been using yours. 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6
