Spain 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Baltic Blue
Liqui Moly Diesel Purge

Evening all,

This afternoon I completed Westies annual major service using all LR genuine parts and as she is now at Just about 100k I am considering using Liqui Moly Diesel Purge and was wondering if anyone else has used it and if so, did you notice a difference?

At 100k I’m sure the injectors have seen better days.

I’m curious to see if it will cure the ‘ticking’ noise - research has led me to think it *could* be an injector.

The various online videos detail how to use it and it seems fairly straightforward, I’m certainly interested.

Croatia 2006 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

Hi,
I've used this product on my previous Citroen 1.6 diesel. It helped with the smoothness of the engine, but not for too long.
Then, I bought liqui moly profi line diesel injector cleaner 5156, which solved my issuses (light white smoke on cold startup), so I would definetly recommend this product. It is a little more expensive but worth it. Smile RR HSE 4.4 2006 LPG
