Front Lower Arm Assembly

Just had my mot today and only thing that came up was Lower Arm Assembly
RBJ500920 Nearside what make have people fitted as there is a massive difference in prices from £25.00 upto £205 also have you just replaced one or done both sides ( car is a 2010 3.6 tdv8 vogue se )

Had mine done on the offside a year ago. Went for Delphi from Island 4x4. https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/lower-with-ba...-6755.html

Only did the one side but, as I had them already, also replaced drop links both sides. All fine after a year but did get some feathering on the front tyres as, presumably, the tracking was out. Have since had 4-wheel tracking done.

If you are doing it yourself, the main thing to remember is that torquing up should be done with the car weight on it. Otherwise you will get premature wear. John

I’ve also used Delphi, lasted a few years with no issues. I would agree you should have the steering geometry checked afterwards.
