Hi All

My friend has a 2005 vogue 2.9 Diesel and has the following issue which seems serious ! The first issue is the battery constantly going flat which we know is a common issue, however when he re installs the charged battery the car will start and drive but after a few minutes he loses drive and the engine just revs. If he starts the car and lets it tick over for a few minutes and then attempts to drive it wont move and the engine just revs and this happens if he selects reverse or drive. It like it moves a little when cold but as soon as it gets warm it wont drive !

I scanned it with my IID tool and got the following errors :

ABS brake module 0x5A Temporary system deactivation

EAS suspension 0x32 Can bus fault

ECM Engine DDE4 Engine fan control malfunction-open circuit short circuit to ground

Instrument pack 0xBD EBV function fault received from ABS ECU

PAM Parking aid 0x3 rear centre left ultrasonic sensor.

Any info would be gratefully received.
