[Sold] 2009 (09) 3.6 TDV8 Vogue

Well it looks like we'll be taking the electric plunge in the very near future so have decided to part with my FF.


2009 (09) 3.6 TDV8 Vogue. First registered 4/3/2009
Purchased March 2018
135k miles
Mot March 2021
3 former keepers

She's no show queen but she's in great condition bar some rust in the usual places. Mechanically excellent, I've owned her for 2.5 years and really enjoyed the experience. I don't want to jinx her but she's been remarkably reliable overall.

Work completed during my ownership:

    Servicing - oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter and cabin filters on purchase and annually thereafter
    Intermediate oil and oil filter change every 6mths
    Transfer box and front / rear diff oils changed
    Gearbox oil, sump pan and vacuum control sleeve changed
    Rear brakes - discs, pads + handbrake shoes
    EGRs blanked (physical blanks and BAS Tuning software patch)
    Suspension air reservoir replaced
    Oil temperature sensor replaced (temp gauge was all over the place)
    Fuel sender fix done (fuel gauge was all over the place)
    Audio Connectivity Module fitted (VPLME0004) - iPod, USB stick etc
    Front lower track control arms and drop links replaced
    New front brake pads
    New battery
    Flushed power steering fluid
    Both tailgate struts replaced
    LED lights (interior, puddle, reversing)
Good wad of receipts and history from previous owners.

Everything works (AFAIK)
Aircon nice and cold
Towbar fitted (I will remove the MaxxRaxx carrier flange)
Tyres: Rear - 5mm / 4mm, Front - 7mm / 7mm all Scorpion Zeros

Typical rust on the tailgate and leading edge of rear arches. These photos were taken a few months ago. The tailgate is looking a bit worse and realistically the best solution would be to find a decent replacement and swap it out.

Asking price of £5000 ONO.

She's currently on a private plate and will go back on an 09 plate before sale.

Thank you, Mike. Yon FFRR is credit to you sir and the BIG step UP from the TD6 I'd hoped it would be.... Was great to meet you and to trade with. Very nice 400 mile test-drive home was so positive, I've decided to keep it AND road tax it for 12 months. Laughing

New owner cleaning and fettling etc. has begun and I hope to share some of that in future posts. This forum and the people on it, totally rock! Mr. Green
