Engine oil....again...

Hi guys,

I appreciate this topic may have been done to the max....but I understand the engine oil recommended by Jaguar LandRover is this:

Are there any alternative oils that you would also recommend?

My local dealer Roger Young quoted £12 per litre for the Castrol which seems to be a fair price?

Red....is 5w-30 okay to use? Recent service has used 0w-30 oil ?
