Complete Car ShutDown Whilst Driving

Had a bit of moment last week, car completely shutdown, red battery light came on and i managed to coast off a roundabout onto a verge!!!!
Called out LR Assistance who sent the AA, thought it was going to be an alternator fault, but was not, he power boosted the car, and it was showing 13,5v to the battery which he thought was a little low, but unsure as mine is a hybrid if that was normal..

Anyway, only faults are due to low voltage and after the battery had been left to charge at idle, all has been fine since!!!!

However, i cannot believe there is not some underlying issue!!!

Any thoughts??

Had the same last week on the M11, although car was also showing high voltage system fault, charging system fault and gearbox fault warnings when it lost power. Car has ongoing issues with high voltage system and consequential electrical failures. Currently in the dealers for the second time in the last few weeks following related breakdowns - it’s been off the road for almost 4 of the last 8 weeks.

Other issues include gear selector not popping up with engine on, persistent air con failure as soon as temperature rises above 25 degrees and regular ‘black panel’ issues with infotainment and hvac screens.

Hugely disappointing as the car is only 9 months old with 5k on the clock.

Lovely thing when it works as well.
