To get good foam it needs a violent mix with air, the foam guns use a venturi to do just that. If you have a pressure washer I recommend the chemical guys snow foam and their applicator, really sturdy and it creates foia that really sticks taking all of the dirt with it when you rinse it off. BMW i3 Electric Car

Well it arrived today, maybe testing soon, but I just bought a Karcher K5 premium and of course a foam bottle to go with it. I'm sure there may have been cheaper options but my daughter said she'd give a good home to my old Karcher as she has with my old iMac, iPad, Hi Fi, speakers and a flat screen telly - isn't it good to have someone you can pass your old tech onto. I've recently started using all three, Polar Blast, Polar Wash, and Polar Seal .

I'm not sure that I need both Blast and Wash as the cars don't get very dirty because it rarely rains here. The cars mainly get dusty.

I use it with an old Karcher pressure washer and Karcher FJ6 foam gun. Ron B. VK2OTC

+1 for the blast AND wash as a process. Blast on its own is still a good product and of the snow foams me and my lad have tried its clearly the best one so far. It actually sticks like a meringue not just a thick wet foam.

Try it with the polar wash and then rapid detailer (also from AG) and the results are very impressive particularly on darker paints.

While your at it get the tyre shine from JennyChem - easily the longest lasting and shiny finish I've ever seen (if thats your thing). (jennychem.com)

AG recommend jet washing the foam off from the bottom up which defies my logic.

Who needs detailers anyway. 405 AB exec seats Baltic and Cirrus

Just snow foamed the FF and then used AutoGlym Polar Seal to put a hydrophobic layer on the car. Amazing results, the water just beads up and runs off. Loads of clips on you tube about how to apply it. Well happy with the results Thumbs Up Very Happy SDV8 AB MY 2019

A Trap

I recommend Bildt Hamber Auto Foam, most are there for enjoyment and the look but Bildt Hamber Auto Foam actually brakes down road grim and works very well.

I recommend jet washing the car down to get the loose dirt off, spray foam and dwell then jet wash off, refoam and use your wash mitt and your soap bucket.

Check out this channel, as the name suggests he forensically looks at products but is not paid to promote any products.

The best snow foam will vary wildly and depends on how the car has been prepared and protected. You would want it to grab the dirt but not breakdown the protective layers. As such there will never be a best snowfoam for all.

Just ordered myself a Lance and some AG foam and polar seal. So will give that a go and see how it goes. Just did a mitt wash today so next week it should still be pretty clean so will give it a spray and hopefully it will look nice and shiny. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

I know this is an old thread but I'll do a mundane post. Last week I washed the car thoroughly but the sand came so I fired up the snow foam thingy and the jet wash to get rid of it. Worked a treat. Geoff
