It's easy to get to, you just remove the cover on the left hand side of the vehicle. I didn't take a picture of it, however, have a look here for instructions on how to replace it.

You will need to replace the fluid and bleed the system afterwards. Kev

Ah ok. I think that’s the cover I removed when I installed the deployable side steps.

I figured you’d have to bleed. Crap...I don’t have the software to that. I’ve managed to get BMW software to code And do dealer level service functions for my M5 but nothing for the RR 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

So, my car went into BLR yesterday to replace/fit:

1. The Dynamic Response valve block to cure the knocking noise
2. The insulator on the rear Dynamic Response pipe near the electric deployable side step bracket to cure the grinding/hissing noise when cornering. Oddly, the front one had it already fitted, but the original dealership must have missed off the rear one
3. A new drivers side mirror/window switch pack because the up/down adjustment on the electric mirrors was intermittent

I picked the vehicle up this morning and I'm glad to say it's all great and no more annoyance Very Happy

And all paid for by the supplying dealer, thankfully! Kev

Good to hear the Clunking was fixed. I know this is going to be pricy though. What was it about 2k parts and labor?

How was it covered on a 2014? Factory extended warranty? 2014 FF Autobiography 5.0 SC

I assume the price paid was the price on the quote.

It was paid by the supplying dealer as the issue was raised within 30 days of purchasing the vehicle. Kev
