Continental do 2 models - the silent ones have foam and the regular ones don't. I've had both & couldn't really tell the difference above my music.

The winters don't have foam either.

The regular ones are £225 and the ContiSilents are £252 here -

Slightly different prices here, but they add delivery -

https://www.camskill.co.uk/m79b0s7703p0/SU..._275_40R22

Both tyres show the same sound rating - not quite sure how that works.....

I don't have first hand experience of anything other than Conti's for the L405

Maybe the sound measured is from the tyre treads and outside - the foam filling would probably only tend to inhibit sound transmission to the inside of the vehicle ? 2003 Range Rover Vogue TD6

Wheres the buy 4 get 1 free deal from Pirelli when you need it.

Might look at the VREDESTEIN once you've reported back.......otherwise its Conti's without foam.

All the Pirelli seem to have foam!!

@Alistair - Kwikfit doing them for 239.50 a tyre for Cross Contact LX Sport and then 10% off 2+. not a bad deal tbh.

Makes it 216.85 a tyre fitted......or more - depends on what they take the 10% off....their checkout is complex! lol all smug in my new plug!

And buy for Kwik-fit using Quidco and you get a further 6.34% discount on top of that (but before VAT)...Never forget Quidoc Smile

I just went for Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season (NCS thus with foam) for my 275/40r22. I ended up with two flat, had my car booked in to finish off the valvetronic exhaust work, and tyres on the drive did 4 of them on our driveway for just £850. I paid a little extra to get an earlier installation slot.

Do Nexen do 22" tyres in 275/40r22 for a range rover then?
