United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE SDV8 Siberian Silver

Got a quote for soon to be mine for £517 from Direct Line and that with 0 no claims. Tried LV and it said they did not insure that type of car. I can only assume the issue is the fact I have no no claims. Have over 8 years NCD on my D3 but I still have that so can't use it on the new one.

I used LV's multi car policy so I can cover my Freelander 2 and L322 but for the L322 they could only offer a 0 years NCB, however they still gave me a discount which puts me below £600 for both cars. Made me realise though that multi car cover isn't exactly what I expected, after all, I cannot physically drive both cars at the same time Rolling with laughter 2011 TDV8 Vogue SE

The insurance on my L405 is only around £350, and that's fully-comp with full business cover too!
Infact, when I changed cars from my Mini Cooper Roadster (or Go-Cart as Mrs C would call it) to the FullFat my insurance only went up by about a tenner Laughing

I should have added - mine is insured through LV too. They even came in cheapest at renewal time this year. Current

Only three days in, but happy with mine so far. Insurance is quite a step up over the late L322 I've just sold - the same engine (5.0 supercharged) but Admiral doubled my quote from £341 to £676. I managed to knock over £120 off by going elsewhere (1st Central)

Another FF L405 lover here. I've never had a vehicle that does so much so well before. Can't honestly see us being without a Range Rover of some variety in the family again. - Corris Grey 2017 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8

Interesting the number of people insured with LV - before I renewed my policy last December I was with Admiral, on a multicar policy covering 3 cars - my wife's MX5 2L Sport, the L405, and my Merc SL55 AMG. For all 3 on relatively low mileage policies, cost was just over £1k. I had to make a small insurance claim last year, and the renewal quote from Admiral doubled to over £2000!

Did a quick search, LV multicar popped up, same details, and a few quid less than my pre-claim Admiral premium! Winner!

That's for 2 V8s, approximately 840BHP, and a roller skate! Nice!

(...and Extinction Rebellion will have to prise the SL keys from my cold, dead fingers....!) Rolling with laughter

With LV, double Range Rover car policy.......so they MUST cover it!! lol

Must take the Evoque off now as its away!

I'm £399 with Full 9+ NCB and excess is £1050 for a claim!

I like the car, it just seems to like the garage more than me......ever since the garage hammered the hell out of my front suspensions arm its needed a few things but nothing I didn't expect for wear and tear, but airbag light does come on now and again and that was done under warranty but still has the odd missfire on that.!! Who knows what it is!

Just abotu to spend about 4k bringing it up to a good level as cant see me replacing it until after Ive built my house which will be 12-18 months from now! Batteries, software update, service, brakes....usual gubbings.....nothing serious

It does what I need from it, so its more the dealers attitude that I hate, not the car....however having used Monarch over the last few weeks its been great to find someone so knowledgeable and helpful as John who owns the place. Wish I'd gave him the car sooner but you live and learn!! Tried to do the right thing by sending it back to Taggarts but thats just been a farce! all smug in my new plug!

I'm currently with LV and my renewal is due in 4 weeks. I got my renewal letter from LV... except it isn't a renewal letter, but a letter informing me they no longer insure Range Rovers and that I will need to look elsewhere at renewal date! Price last year was £540. Cheapest I've found so far is £743.

This LV Insurance problem is quite confusing. I have 4 cars on one policy with them, one of those being my RR and I am renewing on the 7th November. There has been no communication that they are not insuring my RR and it will be automatically renewed as I am happy with the price.

Could it be that certain parts of the UK are not being covered by LV for a RR because I am definitely going to be covered. Confused 19MY SVA-Dynamic Spectral Chromoflair Blue but colour not available in profile
