Random Plastic trim Piece

Hi All,

Had new car about a week now and just found this loose on top of the battery.

Can't see where it goes. Does anyone know.

The bit by my thumb looks like it clips into something!

2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Buckingham Blue

This gets asked more often than you’d think. It goes across the battery and the cables clip to it.

From front to back.... an end clips on the plastic trim towards the windscreen.... Ends up like a bridge over battery. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Your second pic is the right way up I think, need to check.

Thanks for the pic as well.

Wasn't sure whether there should have been some sort of cover over the battery.
