United States 2009 Range Rover Autobiography 4.2 SC V8 Bournville
Cubby box; what is meant to be stored there?

Greetings from the West coast of the USA!

I finally found my FFRR just last week and have been learning all about it. I found a 2009 FFRR Autobiography with just over 34K original miles on it!

The top half of the center cubby has these two odd spots on each side that look like they've been molded to hold some specific item. But I can't figure out what!

Does anyone have any idea what LR intended to be kept in those spots?

Thanks!

Wow, record fast Level Up !!

Some other standard tasks that everyone does:
1) Find and complete the scissor jack replacement (and mod) so you don't die changing a wheel.
2) Replace and upgrade wiring from top of front shocks to avoid the Adaptive Dynamic Fault that everyone gets. If you're 2009 might have been done but this is a guaranteed issue that every L322 of about that age has.

First, what is meant by, "...record fast Level Up !!" Is that an expression specific to this forum or a UK expression that us dumb yanks just don't understand Very Happy?

Thanks for the other two tips! I'll be sure to check them out!

Thanks again!

Rolling with laughter I must be a dumb Brit cos I didn’t get that either.

As above, many have found a certain torch fits well, and a very own phone might go the other. As to what the designer actually made them for, no idea.

Wrong Answers Only?

The top one's for a bundle of rolled 50's. The lower one is for your Q branch issued remote detonator.

The top one's for a fresh Havana cigar, hand rolled on the thigh of a virgin (dunno where you can find those nowadays tbh), the bottom one's for a stack of fake American Express cards.

I checked into this and it's an issue for MY 2010 and up. My '09 does not have any wiring going in through the top of the shock tower.

Thanks!
