As usual I have work to do on my car during the Christmas break and I was wondering if anyone else is planning to do any maintenance.
I’ll be replacing the alternator, using the very useful guide in the Wiki - I’m picking up a new drive belt today. Thankfully a friendly neighbour has offered me the use of the pit in his workshop.
Hopefully I’ll be more popular than I was when I replaced the radiator on my old car on Boxing Day a few years ago  2017 Jaguar F Pace 25t Portfolio - still part of the JLR family 😀

I've managed to get a pair of genuine front brake caliper kits [LR016683] for £30 so I can see why my car tries to send me into a ditch every time I brake hard.

i have the Standard 4.4 TDV8 oil seals to fit and hope the oil cooler is not leaking too  2012 Vogue 4.4 TDV8 - Current

Oh dear MJD. That’s a PITA. Sounds like a line gone.

Plan for the fattie is to park it on the drive and not move it until New year. It will need booking in for a service in the new year But until then focus will be on the M3 and doing a mini service, oil change and reset.

The Mrs car also needs a service so that can get booked into the local friendly with a pile of bits in the new year to do, as I want the book stamping.

Other than that I will be nursing daughter 1 who has just had spinal surgery. So a busy few weeks ahead. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
