TD6 Siemens Gearbox ECU Update

Hello,

as i came along some BMW Sites where they talked about a software update for our GS20 Gearbox ECU i wanted to ask if someone did this to his TD6. When you have a look at our ECU it states SW79 on the label, software? The exact BMW parts go up to somewhere to SW89. It looks like the latest car with the GM Box from BMW was the E83, there is a calibration called A7563653.0DA with the parameters for the E83 M57D30 ECE MY06. As we know BMW sold LR before the launch of the L322 i bet that they never optimized the gearbox software over the years. Anyone any experience with this, upgrading our ECU software? Thanks!

Hello Clemenz, now I've got hold of a Klukas control unit with the last modification, I'm curious when it arrives and is installed, let's see where the cable has to go, man oh man, what you can modify in an old range, usually one intensive money box
I'm also curious whether it will work with the shift paddles

regards
Frank
