Is it too late to get a new style key?

I just bought a key like this from ebay.

I cannot program it to open the doors.. Maybe its operating wrong frequency. How can I adjust the operating freq between 315Mhz and 425Mhz?

Would look fo new style key and need chip PCF 7930AS , Ihave two old keys one with chip that works once I activated the code with the car it locks and unlocks fine. So the chip is missing on the other key and would like to up grade . Do the internals swap from old to new?

I have just bought a 2003 FF TD6, and would like to get two Flip keys for it.

Since I live in Luxembourg, and my FF is LHD, does this make a difference with what type of key I order?

Anyway... could you put me down for 2 keys that I can use for my FF?

Not sure if daveo is still around or having personal problems, if anyone needs key advice BMW electrics only I can offer support

Thanks Lukie for your efforts , the flip key has been cut now and the frequency has been changed so that bthe unlock /lock procedure can be programmed , now can anyone point me in the direction of a way of attaching a key fob , the n omal split rings do not curve through the anchor point .
