I assume you are booking it into Harwoods? You’d save a load of cash by using an independent to do it. Just had mine fitted for around £150. I’d bet Harwoods will be at least double given their hourly rate. Where are your based? We can recommend some places for you. i hit some deep water the other night now i have a squeaky engine sounds to me like a belt pully is probably the guilty party. so if i am going to change one part i think i will order up belts pully's and tensioner do the lot in one hit.

Good luck. About to do mine. Thinking of changing the water pump at the same time so I know ALL the bearings are good then. Did you go for genuine parts? |

No not all genuine i went for a OEM part for tensioner from Rimmer Bros as it is a big saving and has 2 year warranty and the last pully i got from Advanced Factors as it was £96 on Rimmers but £36 from AF for the same part no (Original)
