Dr Rob,

My last MD service identified perished castor arm bushes and minor rocker cover oil leaks. I just want to get a second opinion and see what needs doing. If they are good I'd probably get other work done there too like discs and pads etc.

AC is probably your closest in W'ville for a newer motor like yours

I spoke to Ross at Glenrands yesterday. Only going 3 months but has 30 years LR experience and most importantly for me he has a full Hunter 4 wheel alignment system and does it "properly" when I discussed worn bushes and tight tolerance mode. I'll be using him soon for an alignment and will report back 2011 4.4 TDV8 Vogue SE Buckingham Blue with Ivory and clear glass = "Rory"

As a new owner in the New Forest I've also been researching this!

Other names that popped up are Brooklyn 4x4 near Lordshill (M27 J3) which appear to have a good rep - I contacted them but they won't touch petrol vehicles, and S&C Motors near Netley (M27 J8 ) which claim to be JLR specialists, but I've not found mention of them on here yet.

I'm going to trek round to West 4x4, I think.
