Just tried to fit my rear one today and I can't get it to lock into place, the front ones fitted great. The horseshoe on the wiper arm goes over the fitting on the blade but it just doesn't seem to 'click' into place so remains loose on the arm Confused Cheers Ian

Resurrecting an old thread but I bought these blades last year and finally got around to fitting them. Fronts went on fine but I can't get the rear to click in. Any ideas please anyone?

Have you tried changing the clip because there are should be a few supplied in the box?

I initially thought I had an issue with this but it was fine. On third or 4th set now.

These excellent value blades don’t seem to be available on eBay anymore but are being sold on Amazon. Just ordered a set of 3 for £18.99 to be delivered in two days.

The VIPA blades arrived quick time and were exactly the same as those bought previously under a different name. All good and recommended Thumbs Up

Thank you #pld118 for mentioning the name (VIPA) as the original link above doesn’t work anymore.

I bought some HEYNER ones off eBay (wwwiperblades) £27 set of 3 which look decent quality but didn’t fit them yet as I’m waiting for a new windscreen to be fitted next week. Yes, I got a ding right in the centre of the screen driving it back from the dealers in Scotland, FIRST DAY of ownership! Big Cry

Nothing else can go wrong, right? Confused “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

Got to say in 33 years of driving i have never owned a vehicle that has had so many stones hit the screen, a couple of weeks ago i watched one that felt like i was watching 3D in slow motion hit the screen in front of my eyes, i even could tell you the colour ,shape and size of it but unlike others in the past in did not leave a mark. Shocked

Sorry forgot to reply earlier, the HEYNER blades fitted OK and work perfectly, no streaks or judder, although they don’t fit the arms in such a “cosmetic” way as the OEM ones, no issues after 3 months on.

UPDATE:
The HEYNER blades are still doing a perfect job after 7 months, I bought them at the time because VIPA only had the hook type, and my MY2017 had the pushbutton fitting. I just looked on the VIPA website and I saw they now also do the PB type so I’ve ardered a set as spares. These will look more cosmetically OEM than what I currently have, but I really can’t complain about the HEYNER product. Thumbs Up “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” -where’s the fun in that?

I've just tried a pair of Vipa blades and have sadly had to bin them after 500 miles and go back to the nearly 70,000 mile old Bosch blades while a new pair of Bosch blades are on order.
I suspect that Vipa is a branding and that it depends on the OEM supplier at the time as to how well they work.
