2003 Vogue td6 Not Cranking ****SOLVED****

Hello Everyone...
I hope someone can help get my RR going.
I own a 2003 Vogue td6 that I use to tow heavy boats all over Europe. Truck is great, however....
3 days ago the truck just didn't start.
Symptoms:
Key unlocks the truck & turns to all positions in barrell but no crank with these dash warnings: DSC inactive, suspension inactive, trans prog failsafe. Also steering wheel does not lock nor unlock. I have full dash lights on ignition and power in cabin, steering wheel up and down, windows up and down ect etc.
Checked all interior fuses (ok) and in boot. I fitted a new battery to eliminate a power issue & checked earth cable and also fitted a new ignition barrell switch.
Using my tester at the ignition switch I have signal from crank feed to immobilizer but no signal from immobilizer to starter motor nor ECM relay. I have permanent feed to ECM relay but not being energized when I go to crank.
Immobilizer is doing something because if I unplug it I can't turn the key in the barrell.. Plug it back in and I can turn all the way to crank.
Any help would be greatly received

Regards Jon

Some other things i tried today...

With a large screw driver i crossed from ignition feed to main positive cable point on starter. Engine turns fast but no start, which i expected because i don't have a 12V crank feed to the Starter ECM relay.

I have full 12.5V from all positions on key switch.

I have noticed that i don't see the P, N, R, D on the dash when ignition is on and that makes me think a little, because doesn't the EWS module need a signal from the transmission as a starting parameter?

Does anyone know how i can check if the Auto Trans ECU has power?

Regards
Jon

Check that. Mine wouldn't recognise being in Park unless I wiggled the selector a bit, then stopped staying in Drive. WD40 and it's resolved it, just need to grease it up.

Just to add... I have an Iscan tool on the way. I'm hoping that'll Help me a little.

I'm still getting a niggly feeling about the lack of P, N, R D on the dash. Also have trans prog failsafe...

Jon

Solved!!!
Fuse 31, ignition feed to steering colomn ECU...

Corroded, only giving 10.2 volts. Looked OK on inspection but the multimeter showed different..

Changed for a fresh fuse.. All perfect again.

Thanks so much for no help...

Regards
Jon

Relflection: Don't just rely on visual check in all the fuses...Get the multimeter out...
