service book should it be stamped

After getting my oil cooler replaced under warranty i just wondered if my service book should be stamped as its had a oil and filter change 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 TDV8
2006 Discovery 3 HSE 260k miles and still going strong with a new owner

Ours was stamped with recorded miles when we had ours done last year.
