United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Farallon Black
Activity key activation

Morning all
I have acquired two activity keys off eBay and want to be able to link those to my my18 Range Rover (facelifted model) I am told that it already will have the necessary module fitted which is also associated with keyless entry.
Does anyone have any idea how this may be done?

Unfortunately that did not work. The activity keys were from another RR so presumably they need to be initialised?

Actually its a right pain, and a dealer visit, they have to be unlinked from the old car and then assigned to yours, that cannot be done without the request of the original owner.. I had a issue when i sold mine, ended up giving the guy a refund and throwing them in the bin

Wish this functionality was available for a 2011 .... keys are usually a bit of a pain, for sensible reasons normally

I’ll let you know how it goes as I am waiting on some roof rails to be fitted once available from JLR
