can not remove key from ignition

there is a thread on here. do a search. You can release it by going into the transmission tunnel by the gear stick.

also fill your car profile in so we can see what model/year you have. there are differences.

Once you get into the gubbins use silicon spray to free off. Did mine a few months ago and all is well
