having had serious rubbish warranty service from Grange LR in swindon , i thought it would be a good idea to have a list of independent garages that can accept LR warranty jobs..

Keith Gott are happy to accept and deal with Car Care Plan who underwrite the Land Rover Policy, ask for James in Service Reception.

MJ Fews in Wotton Under Edge, Glos. Used to be a LR main dealer, then became a LR approved service centre which they lost about 2-3 years ago. They still service, sell (used) and repair all LR models.

Highly recommended.

My experience may be out of date but when LR had Select and the Full Service warranty, I had Select and was told by LR that any VAT registered garage could do warranty work, don't know whether this is still the case.

thats an interesting point.....i just phoned LR and they confirm what you have just said...

as long as the garage is vat registered and have an account then they can do the work..
some garages can ask for payment by the customer first and then you claim the monies back .. ... - .- -.

Glad you got your question answered and now hopefully you'll get your problem sorted, I used use TH White before they became Grange. TH White were pretty good, including the salesman.

I can recommend MJ Fews for servicing, bought a P38 off them and it was the only one that never let me down and had been serviced by them from new.

i agree that th white in wootton basset were very good but since grange took over and moved to dorcan,swindon the service is diabolical... ... - .- -.
