I've had something very similar to this on mine (albeit is an L322).
By the time I've got it anywhere for someone to have a look at it, it has warmed up and stopped doing it haha

Can you feel the knock through the steering wheel when it happens? 2011 RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8

Yes absolutely..but literally happens once or twice until car indicates it’s warmed up, then disappears...very noticeable when it happens though!

Due to me being utterly useless I don't seem to be able to upload some photos. But when I look at my top mounts under the bonnet it appears that one of them is wonky.
Might be worth having a look and checking yours as well.

If so we have a common issue... no idea how to solve it though hahaha 2011 RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8

If you click on the 'Gallery' tab on my profile under my name you'll see what I mean. Drivers side is straight. passenger side it out of place.
I took it off and replaced it and it went back almost flush but has moved it's way back to where it was. It did temporarily make the issue better though. 2011 RR Vogue 4.4 TDV8

cheers! Ill take a look...hoping jsut a bush or something that expands when hot and therefore stops the knocking noise, but then cam across a thread on air psuspension valves that oculd need replacing?! so who knows

Could be on to a winner there. I've got a slow leak on one corner. Suspected it was a bag but that does sound like it could be the case.
