Well that's pretty sucky if true, I specifically looked in the owners manual before using it and ensured it said 'permanently live' - bit of a discrepancy then between the owners manual and reality |

It’s definitely true mate. I had a 2003 TD6 and they were always on. Got a 2011 TDV8 and then a pretty expensive 12v cooler box..... and it just kept powering off.

Is there a way to re position a fuse so it can be changed to permanent?

On another forum, someone suggested "You can replace the relay with a short jumper lead fitted with spade terminals to make it permanently powered" which is an interesting idea - now just need to find the relay |
