2013/14 L405 - Specs

Hi All, i currently own a Sport (sorry bout that, but at least it's a LR...) but i am seriously thinking about swapping to a L405 in the near future.

does anyone know of a spec comparison to see what was available on the 2013 /2014 models.

Also do they have apple carplay or if not is there a way round it?

Thx.

PS im going for the 4.4 none of the 3.0 crank roulette this time.....

Is your leaking inlet manifold on your L320 a factor in driving you towards the L405?! Wink

Having taken exactly the same step last year, I would 100% recommend making the leap.

Basically there are three trim levels:
- Vogue
- Vogue SE
- Autobiography

Vogue is the base trim level, but can by no means described as 'poverty spec'. It is still a nice place to be!

Vogue SE you get soft close doors, dual-view front screen, uprated Meridian sound system, heated and cooled seats, adaptive cruise control as standard, premium leather, premium door handles.

Autobiography you get all of the above plus wooden steering wheel, massage seats, winged headrests, four zone climate, leather dash topper, autobiography illuminated tread plates

I've probably got a few bits wrong in the above and no doubt someone will be able to correct me if so.

Also, your choice of engine is a wise one. Having had both the 3.0 and the 4.4, for me there is no contest. You also get Dynamic Response on the 4.4 which you don't get on the 3.0. Kev

Oh and on the carplay front, yes, there are a few options to upgrade or replace the LR system to have a carplay capability. Kev

Thx KN,

my current sport is sitting on 160K after putting 90K on myself. although I still love it it is showing it's age & milage.

I'm torn on moving in to a FF as I do like to go off road and surprise most people where I get it!

im also starting a new job so it's a little treat for myself to should I decide to make the jump.

FYI, I just ordered the parts to fix the manifold and I am really looking forward to a couple of days on the drive...... Rolling Eyes

The MY13 Autobiography seem to have absolutely everything on them as standard, when moving to the 14 there seems less with more to pay for optional extras.

I’ve just come out of MY13 and it had everything on it. It was 3.0 had no major issues in 4 years. I’m now in 4.4 and am extremely pleased. ------------------------------------------
