Clunking noise when turning

Hi all...random issue happened today whilst driving...

Car was fully warm, some 20 miles of A/M road driving, flicked it into sport, all good, then into D as I entered residential area, creeping around 15/20mph and as I turned the corner there’s a massive clunking sound from the NSF wheel/axle.

Immediately thought flat tyre but strange as didn’t throw up TPMS...anyway still creeping through residential roads and every turn the same noise. Finally I park up all okay on a visual inspection. Reversed out of the spot, same noise and this time it’s harder to accelerate as if something is jamming it. Some accelerator and it shudders majorly. No obvious sign of something stuck or creating friction.

Need to have a proper look in the daytime but wondered if anyone had this type of issue before?

Cheers
Bal

I had the same issue. Had 70k miles. Had the differential fluid replaced and haven't had a problem since.

This actually turned out to be the transfer box. Indy tried to reset and it worked but drove through a puddle and had to have it replaced shortly after.
