Hi all.
As previous post a leak from the fuel pump hard means I’m gonna have to take the pump off and refurb it.
I’ve ordered the seal kit and read some instructions over and over.

Can anyone advise what the correct tool is to hold the sprocket in place please?

A search shows from £5.99 to £80. All look similar but some have short “sockets” and some have long?

Have you checked the low-pressure lines at the pump, a known leak point with old rubber? 2007 TDV8 VSE

How soon will you need it?
I bought the correct tool to do mine 2 years ago and no longer need it as I’ve sold the car now.
Will gladly post it to you FOC but Monday will probably be the earliest I can get to the post office.
