That’s just what I’m about to do, AT3s on 20” wheels👍
Can’t decide whether to keep the original wheels or not though. 2011 TDV8 4.4 Vogue SE in Galway Green with Black leather

Just had a set of 255/55/20 grabbers on supercharged wheels fitted - a noticeable difference from the 19’s with zero’s that we’re on it. Surprisingly they seem quieter than the zero’s too.

How worn were the old tyres?

They had a fair bit on them about 5-6 mm I’d estimate.

Oh wow. That is surprising as the Pirelli’s are rated slightly quieter per EU measurements. Anyway, enjoy 👍👌

I agree with you JoolsB. I find that the grabbers on mine are no louder then zeros, quieter if anything.

Are you running 55’s? Maybe that’s got something to do with it.

Mine has the grabbers on 20 inch wheels and I find the quieter than the zeros I had on my discovery.

Proper tread pattern for an offroad-capable SUV. I've considered these as well - though I'm more looking for the 275/55 look.

Spain

Im so far very happy with these. The cornering and handling is excellent and very quiet on the road. I live in the mountains so lots of twisty roads, so less sidewall roll the better. they are only 0.97% smaller wall heigh than the standard tyre fitment but being slightly wider is fine. Looking forward to some off road use (most probably dirt and rock as its not so muddy in southern spain).
Overall these look and handle great.

A Trap

Croker, do you have a link to the ITV page where you have options on tyre size and ratings...Spainish police (N322), tyre shops and ITV stations all say you can only fit the permitted tyre size(s) listed on your ITV log book, mine has one size tyre for 20’s and one for 19’s, they check the tyre size fitted against the ITV log book every time, asking at tyre shops, they just refuse to sell anything other than what is fitted as they are liable as well. All point to getting the car to Madrid or Barcelona to the main ITV centers there to get the car checked and an engineers report and approval for the change in tyre size and spec to be added to the ITV log book?!

I wanted all terrain tyres but cannot get any in 255/50 r20 109Y’s
