Another CoPart Special....

Before anyone asks... no... I have not had a bottle of wine and won this little gem Laughing

However I am not sure I would call this front end damage and they say it runs and drives, perhaps but only in circles.... Plus since when were RR's rear wheel steer... L322 2007 TDV8 3.6

England 2011 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Santorini Black

This looks quite tidy, doesn’t look like an Ultimate but aren’t they ultimate wheels?
Says rear damage but nothing obvious.

What’s the deal with Copart? Are they a risky buy or is it just they’re salvage auction & as much of a risk as any with a damaged repairable vehicle?

That’s a curious one, one of the front lower spoilers is hanging off, there’s nothing obvious on the rear , although it does state engine will not start.

Auction for insurance write offs. Usually sell vehicles pretty cheap then by time you've added on all their fees, paid someone to collect it and repaired it your not that far behind just paying for a straight one in the first place. Friend bought q motor n they said it drives. He got it home only to discover it was flood damaged so lost out money wise

All sold as seen so pretty big gamble as you can only see the pics n that's it

2007 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.2 SC V8 Stornoway Grey

Mines a copart rescue Cool

Went to local yard to see it before I bid on it, immaculate pre bump condition, needed new bonnet, rad pack, front bumper, crash panel.

Managed to buy it and buy the parts and repaired it myself apart from the paint job, all in cost 11k in 2013 Very Happy.

Managed to track down the previous owner and history, car had spent first 5 years in majorca, third owner had only had it 3 months before he had ran into the back of another range rover pushing the towbar through the front, even sent me the rear headphones for free.

Non damaged comparable cars were selling for 22k at the time.

Cool
