2019 Range Rover Autobiography SDV8 Aintree Green

Well today did not help. Had pretty well decided on a 5.0 Autobiography, took SWMBO in to convince her only to find how utterly stupid the fold forward on the rear seats is and if its 5.0 it has to be Autobiography. So roll on 460 with a decent engine and a usable boot.

You can order the normal 60/40 seats, ours has them.

You can still order the AB without Executive Rear Seats, so the ones from the VSE. It’s in the price list and on the Configurator. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Zermatt Silver

As someone who usually buys end of line discounted models I would go for a big discounted older version

But make sure you really haggle, real hard.

I have known salesmen have tens of thousands of discounts and buyers jump at a few k.

I run a very reliable 2012 Westminster. End of line, most faults I assume ironed out. I know a lot of 405 owners with serious issues.

In 2021 you justify a L322 2012 purchase with the anecdotal feedback that L405 owners have serious issues? I don’t think that stands up to scrutiny.

However, TeeMyob’s suggestion to go late L405 is one I would support, but for different reasons: better price, better drive train availability, simpler insurance, better timeline certainty. L405 P400e Autobiography (MY2020)... Silicon Silver / Espresso

Has anybody on the forum any real world experience of what happens when there’s a new model in the offing with existing orders in the system.

So for example, a dealer has told me that they’ve got 3 orders that have been sat in the holding pool since early March for P525 AB’s with no build slot/date assigned. The dealers don’t always know what’s going on with cars, prime example wanted to change SWMBO X5, saw someone on the Sport forum post that there was a new HST with an MHEV engine coming very soon, asked 3 dealers...no definitely not, 2 days later it was announced on the LR website. So what typically happens if one model year is closed, next model year hasn’t been announced and there’s an all new model due soon, do the dealers say eventually....sorry sir, can’t fulfil this order, we’re only taking orders for new cars now and oh by the way they’re 6% more?
