Hello

Evening all,

Might be defecting from Disco3.co.uk... so have come over for a mooch and work out if I should go L322 while I decide whether to repair the D3 or sell it.. plus I have a real hankering for a V8!

cheers

Gareth

2012 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Causeway Grey

Hi to everyone on the forum - and thanks for allowing me in.
Have a few quips with my 2012 TDV8 L322 Facelift (still only 61,000 miles and going) since taking possession (the guardian for the time being) two and a half years ago now.
This is only my second journey into the world of Land Rover and or Range Rover... having previously owned a Freelander 1.8i 5-door station wagon from new in year 2000, which actually run good for around 10-years until the first head-gasket popped its clogs, at around 60,000-miles. Another head-gasket, updates/mods and recon lid and tippy tapers/valves etc a few years later kept it going for 15-years in total, which ain't too bad. Both head gasket jobs only cost around £300 a time - so both good value.
Engine and transmission-wise the current Range Rover Westminster has run and performed beautifully - crispy clean ultra smooth - and is a sheer pleasure to have and behold. Annoying that most of us plebs have been locked down by state control thus far, in UK, as many miles of luxurious touring pleasure have been taken/stripped from us: maybe we might be able to get a full rebate on the motoring lockdowns in the future?!?
Will have a good look around here before asking about a few minor woes with the/my big 4.4 beastie! Smile

This is Rosie, our new family member. I know she will be expensive but still cheaper than my kids! I have a few niggles to fix but that’s all part of the fun! Cheers, Mark

United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black

Hi all. Very new to RR ownership - after looking at P38s for months, for some reason I decided on a black 2009 TDV8 instead. Hope to keep for a very long time, depending on how nicely it treats me!

I have finally bought my first Range Rover since wanting one since I went in my friends dads P38 almost 30 years ago.
Anyway I have paid a deposit on a 2009 facelift Vogue in Black. I am just waiting for the previous owner to remove their private plate from the car and once the new V5 arrives I will be collecting it.
I haven’t been this excited about a new car for years.

Good Morning,

Just popping in to say hello!

I’ve been hankering after a FFRR since I was 16 and my first ‘proper’ job my desk overlooked T.H White’s in Wootton Bassett. 13 years on and I think it’s time to take the plunge and acquire an L405 with the intentions of keeping it for a good while.

Have been searching the forums ‘back catalogue’ as it were and very grateful for all the wonderful information shared by owners and enthusiasts alike.

Look forward to being part of the community.

Kind Regards,
Michael

United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Santorini Black

Greeting from the top bit of Bucks.

Had a series of Discos over the years, but feeling the need to scratch the FFRR itch.

Researching in advance of seeking out a late L322 TDV8

Regards,
JED
