Fineline / IQ Glass

A long shot, but does anyone have any experience of either of these aluminium glazing companies? They’re on our shortlist for a refurbishment including large glazed sliding doors on an extension. Thanks in advance for any feedback on product quality & installation efficiency. 2011MY 4.4TDV8 Autobiography Baltic Blue

IQ supplied the glazed link and corner pocket door and fixed panel on a project three or four years ago.

The actual product is very nice.

It’s very expensive for what actually the product is, some alloy sections and glazing.
The hype before they fit makes you really worry about what you present for them to fit too. Reality is that they are not upto what they think they are.
They had a very good foreperson and three or four lesser geniuses, who could have been replaced with two tradespeople. First fix and second fix needed remedial work to get correct or acceptable finish.
On the small projects they also allocate baby contracts management persons. Our youth was clueless and hopeless in equal measure.

It worked out okay in the end. However it was not smooth, efficient or value for money.

If they actually spend the money for the product on improving their services, rather than the owners latest Ferrari it would also help.
The results of all the stress are nice, but it seems to be over complicated and stressful to get the final results.
