You need a tool like the iidtool to reset the engine adaptations. Range Rover 4.2 Supercharged 2006

So just did a smoke test and the result came back nuthing no leak, that's crazy so I did told the mechanic that when I 1st got the car I wanted to experience the HP on this but I notice the on the freeway while full throttle the car sputtered or bogged im thinkingbits the fuel pump or fuel filter and thoughts that could pop up the code P0171?

I appreciate all the replies its helping me and hope others too

So I did the filter in tank too forgot that but that in theory would give you faults on both banks same with the pump… you could have bad injectors could try and clean? Have you got diagnostics like iid tool to look at the fuel trims Current stable:

iid tool is not cheap, can look into another scan tool that might do the job too
iCarsoft LR V3.0 for Land Rover/Jaguar Diagnostic Tool with auto VIN/Quick Test/Actuation Test
And is there a way to clean the fuel injectors with removing them the block

I think JLR recommend running a rich mix of bg22k Current stable:

Oh so when I 1st got the car I was so stoked that I'm gonna put full tank on gas bit after realizing under the car it was over flowing of gas, so I think the previous owner replace the fuel pump but didn't set the gasket properly, you think that could cause the p0171 and causing the fuel pump to go bad or to much air in the fuel system that cause it to sputter or bogged during full throttle

I’m not sure anything is possible if the system isn’t sealed - I’d buy a new filter and change it and while you are there take the pump cover off and reseat it Current stable:

Update still p0171 so I'm saving up to purchase a new fuel pump system and if that doesn't work still then a new o2 sensor from atlantic British ill keep you updated for other RR owners

Still trying to save up for a part, but it's all good with the negatively but I replaced everything I can think of from both cat and o2's both banks upper and lower and did a smoke test lucky no signs of leak and Pcv replaced to and gas cap, what else am I missing? Sad day in the hood for my RR btw you know any body that wants to buy a
Ksport coils overs it's for a sport 05-12 non supercharged
