There is a full length plastic strip with the clips moulded into it, they aren't a lot of money from the dealers but yeah, Sikaflex or 3M VHB tape would do it... |

Looks like the thin plastic strip is still there in the photo - should have fixings on the reverse side that clip into the holes. |

As Haylands say, you can use various adhesive tapes, looks like the fastening strip bits may have broken off / perished. Below link is for the fixing strip you MAY need to refit. Different part for left and right doors.

I fixed mine by cutting off the plastic clip strip just clear of the bottom hole then used a fir tree clip to hold the trimmed end of the strip. There's now no plastic strip past the bottom hole but it never held the seal in place anyway. |
