How to stop wing mirrors auto folding?

I have a FF 2016MY Vogue - bought secondhand a couple of years ago. It's fantastic, of course

The issue I have is that it came with the wing mirrors set up to fold in when the vehicle was locked and out when it was unlocked

I don't really mind that, although I never park anywhere where that would be an issue

Last time out one of them didn't unfold on start up

I managed to manually fold them both in and then out, it came out OK then.

But I don't really want to push my luck - it's quite tricky driving it with one mirror locked in, and of course if the motor packed up it would cost $$ to fix

The manual says your retailer can set it up as it is currently set up - and presumably they can reverse the process

I don't really want to go to a dealer,

Anyone know how to disable that feature?

The dealer, or anyone with the correct equipment to rewrite the CCF (car configuration file) can do it.

Well that's the L322 I expect the L405 is the same...  Pete

Go into your dash menu with the steering wheel switches look up car settings and you will find a listing for mirror auto fold function push disable option.
Very easy that should do the trick.
