Caravan graphics

The large roof graphics on my ‘van are starting to peel , I think I’m going to pull them off, and not replace them. I’m guessing there will be some glue residue, question is , what’s best way to remove without damaging the ‘van?
Cheers

I'm not sure what would damage the van.... but WD40 is usually fairly effective at removing sticker residue.

A Trap

Heat gun, (or hair dryer)…. careful not to burn the paint… when hot the graphics come off easily if you take your time and will leave little glue to clean up after.

Be very careful with a toffee wheel on a caravan, the ally is very thin and the panel above the front windows is usually just a sheep of ally with minimal structure under it so can be quite flexible too.

If you can get to a Screwfix or Travis Perkins, then the megawipes with the red top get pretty much anything off. Just the ones with the red top mind. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

If any glue is left, then use this stuff to remove any deposits - 'De solv it sticky stuff remover'
It's in B&Q, Tesco, B&M etc brilliant stuff.

Powerfuluk show the use of the toffee wheel on one of their videos on YouTube. I thought at the time its a pretty drastic option if you're unpracticed.
It worked well in the hands of someone who knew what they were doing.
Hairdryer and wipes would be my hamfisted choice. Laughing

I used a toffee wheel trying to get multiple sticky pad residue from behind the number plates on the Porsche bumper, didn’t go well, funny burning smell , at least you can’t see it . Mr. Green Mr. Green
