20" BBS Split Rims - Factory or Aftermarket?

Greetings all - I picked up my first L322 yesterday (2007 TDV8) and its fitted with a set of 20" BBS Split rims. Does anybody know if these were a factory option, or if they're just an aftermarket set?

Any info would be much appreciated - they aren't really to my taste so I will end up swapping them for a set of 19's at some point in the future. Cheers

They were an option at one point. A very expensive option that didn’t age well as the chrome surrounds corroded quickly. There was a similar wheel on the XJR that my dad had and they went the same way.

They are certainly not a popular wheel.

You can likely get a build sheet from one of the VIN decoder sites that will tell you which wheels were originally fitted.

Do you have a matching spare ? If not, then it’s likely they were swapped at some point.

Part number RRC501660MNH Thumbs Up

I don't have a matching spare - it's just a standard 20" alloy so I assumed that these wheels had been added to the car at some point over the years. Like you say they haven't aged very well and are in desperate need of a refurb!
