I’ve fitted 285/40/22 to my Turbines which give a 4.5” sidewall - unless you are rock crawling they are fine in muddy fields and wet tracks - anything more adventurous I use the 20” with 285/50/20 AT’s. 2021 L405 Vogue SE 4.4 V8 DIESEL ~ #17

I regularly drive on farm tracks that are heavily pot holed, flinty, rocky etc. A deeper sidewall is reassuring. As is it for kerbs in town. Smile

I also prefer the ride quality with a deeper tyre sidewall.

Each to their own though. Thumbs Up

I regularly drive on the M6 and M1, slightly shallower side wall are fine! Laughing

I know it’s a waste of the cars capabilities, but I bought it for its ability to fit the whole family in and travel in a decent amount of luxury. MY23 Panamera E-Hybrid
