another reason to sell is that i dont do the miles now...no euro trips done in the last 2 years or so and only 2k miles done in the last year.

i appreciate those who use theirs daily would want to keep theirs.. ... - .- -.

I sold my black L322 5.0 S/C using Motorway. I wasn't entirely happy with the initial quotation, but they ended up offering an extra £1k. From then on the service from them was very good and hassle free (and avoided the tyre kickers! Laughing ) SDV8 AB MY 2019

I'm in a similar boat to you Stan, doing around 2k miles a year and I can't really justify having a bucket load of money tied up in the RR, despite it being the best car I have owned Sad SDV8 AB MY 2019

Hmmm, that is a dilemma. If you can own a FFRR for 2.5 years with little or no depreciation, it would seem daft not to sell.

I think the real dilemma is what happens after you have sold. If you were ordering a new one it would be easy, but who knows when used prices will fall back to “normal”.

As you do so few miles, I’d be inclined to take advantage of the high used prices. 👍

I'm definitely leaning that way...

i have a mot on Friday so depending on what the dealer offers me i most probably stick an ad on here..

it'll be a good way to persuade the wife to upgrade to a newer one when the prices level out.. ... - .- -.

Have you looked at car wow, that Matt guy is now banging on about how they can sell your car for you, it sounds like a system where it goes to the best offer from a dealer on their dealer panel.

Might be worth a look.

Ive been doing similar things Stan... Sold wifeys D4 for £6k more than it was worth this time last year! And I've just sold our Camper, of which its value has also gone stupid! As we havent used it blah de blah. You know the story, everyone wants a staycation so UK camper values have rocketed... We may replace it when the market place resumes normal practice? And of course there will be a glut of camper vans as everyone will be back to normal holidays... "lovely jubily"

Ive thought about selling my 405... Keep an eye out sir Whistle Whistle Whistle Thumbs Up
