L405 Wheel Bolts

During my wheel refurb, I was advised that at least one of my wheel bolts have swollen.

Just been looking at these on EBay. Are these correct for an L405? They don’t seem to have the washer?

Agree with Stan. They don't look right. I bought a set on eBay about 12 months ago.£24 for 20.

In order to minimise the swelling risk, I run a little bit of clear silicone sealant around the edge of the stainless cap to stop any water/road grime getting in there. So far, so good. Fingers crossed. Kev

Shocked If you've got a spare couple of hundred quid you can do what I did (and other members) and get Stainless Steel ones from Wrington Engineering - each one a precision jewel and of course no more swelling. In fact I don't know if he ever had them made but Criag was looking at Titanium, probably even more expensive Shocked Shocked Shocked Geoff

Thanks for the all the tips gents. The expensive ones do look good but I think my money could be better spent elsewhere.

I’ll probably go for the cheaper ones, silicone them and change them annually if needs be.

No amount of protection seemed to work for me, even soaked overnight in Dinitrol to no avail. So I admitted defeat and always had two sockets, one for non swollen nuts and one for swollen. Then I got sick of that as well and bought the Stainless ones. Geoff
