Help with a Part Number please!

So, I'm in the process of swapping the turbo on my 4.4 TDV8 after it demolished itself on Christmas Eve...

Kneeling on the top of the engine, we've managed to break a small hose nipple to push fit connector. I can't seem to find a part number, can anyone help? I have circled the nipple in question from a Russian parts catalogue. The hose it fits into appears to be LR023142.

Thanks
Mike

Not available as a separate part. You need to buy the whole manifold assembly...

Really?! It’s just a three inch long plastic nipple!

Oh well, we made a copper one... Smile

Thanks

Dependent upon how urgent the supply of the part is, if you are not in too much of a rush Aliexpress is worth a search. The part you need only comes from the MD as a whole unit assembly and is expensive, ISTR in excess of £59.

The right angle bit the broken part connects to is an 9.89 fitting as per this link.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3281368855...6cdcqfYNgo

You'll need to search for a male/male fitting in the region of 10mm diameter with the correct lengths etc. Measure up your broken bit and have a search. It may be easier or more likely to find a similar sized, near enough equivalent connector and insert on the site.

Hope this helps Cheers
Richard

What happened to your turbo exactly?

Not very common thankfully on a 4.4 TDV8

. Cheers, Greg

Just to add to this, I broke the same part. It joins a 10mm ID hose (9.89mm) to an 8mm ID hose. There's a fitting on Amazon that's metal that leaks, but I've found the right connector on eBay for £5.69 delivered. Be careful, lots of listings are from China or Hong Kong: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8mm-10mm-Car-Mo...4550246853
