United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Santorini Black

Thank you so much well with a lot of force I got the cover off got fan out and….. yep the next day delivery has just informed me that they will deliver at 20:20
I hope I can force that cover back in it is so tight to the wiring loom above I had to use a bar to even see the thre clips at the top, then I had to pull so hard I thought the bumper would be on the end of it.
So I’ll try and start the rebuild tomorrow.
Thanks everyone for all your help
Bill

ok any ideas please

Got fan fitted put most the car back together and tried the fan works a treat but all the air is coming out at the front bottom into the center console area. I'm also getting air to my feet but nothing to the screen or the middle of the dash. cant feel any air behind the dash just everything coming out below the heater controls, any ideas please.

I'm sure something isn't moving that should, to make the air change directions. I took the heater controls off again manually mover the green metal cable there, I could hear it moving something open and shut but didn't change air direction?
I'm thinking it's another cable or lever thats not doing its job.
Oh my I hope the whole lot hasn't got to be stripped down again.
Have all the vent pipes in the centre armrest area be connected before the rest will work? gutted

Thanks
Bill

After stripping the car back down a second time only to find out I hadn't missed anything. I have now found out that until you connect the rear vent pipes and motor the main blower does not work properly. All the air comes out the bottom of the dashboard when everything is replaced it works great.
thanks to everyone for their help

Glad you got there in the end. I’ve never done it so wasn’t much help.

I found a video on the net of a bloke that just removed the dash top and info screen, then got a grinder and cut the top of the heater motor off so he could reach in and change the fan motor. It looked a right hatchet job. God knows how he got it to seal afterwards…..

yes I saw that option but I didn't like the idea of doing that kind of mod to my car if you had a crash and it was spotted who knows. Bow down Thumbs Up
