As an Essex resident I’m registered with essex libraries & part of their cost saving/ improvements to service they have
embraced the digital library.
Anyway long and short is I have a choice of about 3,000 magazines. Homes and gardens is not for me, but I do save about E300.00 on one subscription. From time to time read other magazines & some newspapers are free. Even the radio Times is there !
Handy if you are on holidays/living abroad.
Other counties have to a lessor or greater degree embraced similar packages . Essex is delivered via the Libby app, I believe parts of London are in the same scheme.
