DAB comes and goes!

The DAB signal on my, new to me, 2010 3.6 TDV8 facelift keeps disappearing.
On my Jaguar I-Pace no such issues, so why on the RR?
Same journey so reason to be different.
Also there is a constant low level whine on the speakers, so my thoughts turn to earths etc.
Does anybody have a initial go to start point to fault find?

Ian

The sad but simple reason is that the DAB is rubbish. Mine drops out as you describe and at precise locations on my commute. Same journey in a nearly new hire car and never lost signal once.

I have asked on here if there are ways to improve it but not had any good news. Crying or Very sad Bish.

It's the same with me in rural Norfolk Ner Ner on a MY18, any sort of slight hollow and the signal goes right over my head lol
It cuts out in all the same area's maybe there is a need to improve the coverage. But I am sure I never had such poor performance of DAB in my last car, MY17 Discovery Sport.
So explain that one 2018 SE SDV8 4.4 Byron Blue
